Mongolian Beef Noodle Bowl @ Bento Red – Gainesville, Fl

For lunch I had the Mongolian beef noodle @ Bento Red. I don’t know if it’s a real dish or not because this is a fusion restaurant.. It was basically Mongolian beef on top of plain thick noodles and I suppose it’s meant to be all stirred up because that’s what I did? At first I was confused at how the noodles looked like spaghetti to me. Anyhow it satisfied my super bad craving for noodles that I had today! Even if it was a bit too oily.

My midnight snack tonight

So I thought I would be okay not eating dinner tonight because there’s simply nothing to eat. That’s what I always think when I look in my FULL pantry/freezer/fridge.. there’s nothing to eat. I wish I had someone to cook for me! But yeah here I am throwing crap together. After midnight and.. eating.. after midnight. What an out of the norm midnight snack I made. I basically got seaweed and threw some rice on there then added shredded pork and attempted to fold it. I think. Oh and of course I didn’t forget the soy sauce and Crystal! And yes I randomly have ginger in my fridge. I don’t know if this is a legit hand roll or not because I’ve never ate/made them before! But I’ve served them at my old job.. hah.

Mesquite Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ Avocado

First day of my month! MAY! And for my first actual meal, (this morning I ate oatmeal….) I made a sandwich that reminded me of my favorite breakfast torta.. I guess it’s just because I put avocado on a grilled chicken sandwich w/ bbq sauce but still.. now I’m gonna have to look through my pictures for my fave torta and post it on here! ‘Cause I probably won’t be getting to eat it anytime soon.. ! Boo stinkin’ hoo. :[

Com, Lap Xuong, and Egg

One of my fave things to make :) [est. summer ‘07]! My dad also said he made this a lot when he was younger. It’s Chinese sausage, rice and egg! The infamous method? First Islice and fry the Chinese sausage. Then I take it off the pan and keep the oil to fry the egg. I added broccoli this time to be ‘healthy’. Topped it off with Sriracha and I was good to go!
